Barring the first ODI, in which the Zimbabweans were at par with the Indians for the most part, ultimately succumbing to a narrow four-run defeat. Among the batsman, Ambati Rayudu made most of the runs, scoring 165 runs from two innings without being dismissed even once. Rayudu was later adjudged the ‘Man-of-the-Series’ for his effort.
