India win toss, elect to bat against South Africa

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa in their World Cup Group B match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur.

India win toss, elect to bat against South Africa

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa in their World Cup Group B match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur.  

 

India are playing three seamers and one spinner with Munaf Patel coming in the place of Piyush Chawla. South Africa have brought in Johan Botha in place of injured Imran Tahir.

 

Teams:

 

India: Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (c&wk), Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Munaf Patel. 

 

South Africa: Graeme Smith (c), Hashim Amla, Jaques Kallis, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Morne van Wyk (wk), Faf du Plessis, Johan Botha, Robin Peterson, Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel.
