AND Dinesh Karthik finishes off in style. KKR deserved a win here after they put up a brilliant bowling performance. Karthik held in nerve till the end and took his team home defeating RR by 6 wickets.

  • 11:06 PM IST

Dinesh Karthik is playing a good hand here along with Chris Lynn. They are in no hurry of scoring quick runs and not trying anything fancy. A wicket and two can help RR here.

  • 10:51 PM IST

Dinesh Karthik needs to play a responsible innings here. Chris Lynn, however is playing a different game here. He is not playing his natural aggressive and attacking game but he is looking to stay in there and take KKR home.

  • 10:38 PM IST

OUT! RR use the review and they use it well. Don’t know why the umpire thought it was missing the stumps but nevertheless it’s the wicket that matters. KKR are 3 down and under pressure.

  • 10:32 PM IST

The partnership is slowly building here. RR need a wicket to stay on top. In the first innings we saw wickets falling right after the strategic time out. Do we see any other in this innings as well?

  • 10:15 PM IST

OUT! Ben Stokes might have not done it with the bat but he is surely turning around things with the ball. He has picked up both the wickets and that off Sunil Narine and Robin Uthappa.

  • 10:04 PM IST

Narine-storm ends. Stokes ends it. Gowtham, who was plundered for 21 off the first over, takes the catch. He is angry and understandably so.

  • 10:01 PM IST
6 4 6 4 1 0 — Narine starts in a rollicking fashion. Not sure if it was a great call from Rahane to bowl Gowtham ahead of Archer. Stokes to bowl the second over. Stokes and Eden Gardens. Rings a bell?
  • 9:45 PM IST

OUT!! RR innings come to an end. The slower one has worked for Prasidh. KKR need 143 to win. Who would have thought this would be the total after 6 overs. KKR will look to chase it down as fast as they can to keep up with the NRR.

  • 9:34 PM IST

OUT! RR are 9 down now and in big big trouble here. In the first 6 overs it seemed like Karthik made a wrong decision of bowling first but the bowlers made sure it was a good decision.

  • 9:19 PM IST

  • 9:14 PM IST

OUT!! Kuldeep Yadav gets one more and it is the wicket of Ben Stokes. Kuldeep has carried on the extra responsibility with Piyush Chawla missing. Stokes was the last man standing for RR but he has to depart for 11. Ish Sodhi joins Unadkat in the middle.

  • 9:02 PM IST

OUT!! What a turnover for KKR. They surely decided on some strategy during the time-out and it seems to work wonders for them. First the important wicket of Buttler on 39 and then the wickets of Stuart Binny and Sanju Samson. RR in trouble here.

  • 8:40 PM IST

OUT! KKR have managed to pick one more wicket and it is the captain this time. Rahane looking to play a reverse sweep off Kuldeep Yadav missed it completely as the LED lights lit up in behind.

  • 8:26 PM IST

RR are off to a flyer after the first tight over. Tripathi was the one who started the carnage in the second over but it was Buttler who took it forward. However, RR have got the wicket of Rahul Tripathi but the wicket they need is of Buttler.

  • 8:04 PM IST

Shivam Mavi who is in for injured Piyush Chawla bowled a tight first over against the likes of Jos Buttler and Rahul Tripathi. Buttler due to his brilliant performance in IPL has been selected in the Test side which means this will well be his last game in IPL. Big blow for RR.

KKR have won the toss and opted to bowl. The crowd would have wanted them to bat first with the performance they put up in the last match against KXIP. However, RR too have something to offer in their batting and that is Jos Buttler.

KKR have lost both their games in which Narine did not open and he has proved in the last game that the spot is made for him. Karthik is also contributing well with the bat in the end overs. For RR it is Jos Buttler who has only scored half-centuries since the promotion. Both the teams will look to win this one and climb the points table.
