Rajasthan Royals (RR) literally coloured the city of Jaipur pink. In the match 43 of the Vivo IPL 2018 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the RR players took the initiative of wearing pink (along with burgundy and teal) jerseys to support awareness of breast, oral and cervical cancer. Ajinkya Rahane explained the initiative during the toss: “We are supporting cancer patients. It is a great initiative by Rajasthan Royals. It is for all the people in Rajasthan to go out there and get a health check up every six months. We are all happy to support it. ”

The Cancer Out campaign is being run with the support of the state government, National Cancer Grid, Indian Cancer Society and Indian Dental Association in the state.
South Africa typically take field in pink during the Johannesburg ODI every year, while the New Year’s Test at Sydney is often pink-themed.
