Pakistan team faced a collapse in their middle and lower order lineup, as they managed to post only 146 runs against India in the final of the historic Asia Cup 2025 clash. The Men in Green started off greatly, but then faced a collapse and were wrapped up in 19.1 overs.

Being invited to bat first, Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman stitched up a strong opening partnership- with scores of 57 and 46 respectively. Farhan was the one to get dismissed by the half-inning mark, and everything went downhill from there. Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub could only last a short while on the pitch.
