Indian team arrival live updates: Team India celebrates T20 WC triumph in Mumbai

With the prize money now alloted to the cricket team, The Men In Blue are now going through Wankhede while having little interactions with the audience like throwing caps and goggles. Team India’s aim for a World Cup trophy as the stadium is now filled with enthusiasm of the audience and the Cricketers themselves.

Finally the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Team India receives the prize money of INR 125 crore as the celebrations continue

As the parade keeps on going, Indian players take their turns holding the world Cup trophy high up in the air.

Team India has finally boarded their open roof double-decker bus in Marine Drive, and now the parade has finally begun. The crowd is going crazy with even more louder screaming than before, as now they can clearly see their idols.

While they are on their way to Marine Drive, Rishabh Pant taken on to Instagram live to show live visuals of the crowd from the bus’s point of view. The visuals shows the crowd as they cheer and wave to the camera.

With the crowd going wild, Indian team has finally boarded their bus and have taken their seats and now are waving to all their fans from the windows.

After long wait, team India has finally arrived and are going to board their bus for the parade. The parade is set to first reach Marine drive, then towards Wankhede stadium.

The Indian cricket team has landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International airport in Mumbai and the victory parade is expected to begin soon.

The Marine Drive has become a sea of blue as tons of fans have flocked there to witness the victory parade.

Though there is still some time left for the Indian team to arrive at the Wankhede stadium, still the outside of the stadium is jam-packed with fans and there is barely any space to walk.

The Indian team has now departed for Mumbai where they will be having a trophy parade at the Wankhede stadium later in the day.

Though there are hours to go before team India arrives in Mumbai, still large crowds have started to gather at Wankhede stadium for the trophy parade already.

Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma was not with the rest of the squad in the 2 buses that arrived earlier. He arrived in a separate car with BCCI Secretary, Jay Shah and BCCI President, Roger Binny.

The Indian team have reached Delhi airport and will soon depart to Mumbai where the celebrations will continue throughout the day.

After having a meeting with PM Modi at his residence, the players are heading back to the ITC Mauryas hotel. They are set to travel to Mumbai later in the day.

The Indian team are currently in a meeting with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The team will soon fly to Mumbai where a lot of things have been prepared to celebrate their T20 World Cup triumph. The celebrations will continue throughout the whole day.
