The Indian cricket team will face Pakistan in their next match of ongoing Champions Trophy 2025, and the match will be played in Dubai on February 23. Before the massive clash between the arch-rivals, Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar made some massive suggestions to India. He wants a major change in the lineup.
Sunil Gavaskar stated that spinners slowed down the runs in middle overs of match against Bangladesh, The legend also is in favour of Varun Chakravarthy being added as the fourth spinner.
“Hardik Pandya can start with the new ball against Pakistan. India know about the pitch, and they are aware of what is needed against Pakistan. The pacers took wickets, but the spinners kept things tight against Bangladesh. India can add another spinner, Varun, against Pakistan,” Gavaskar told
“Pakistanâs strength has always been their fast bowling, but now they donât have quality in the spin department, and thatâs why they have just one spinner in the team,” he added.
India is going to enter the match with a fresh mindset after the victory over Bangladesh. Mohammed Shami was the top bowler in the match, securing a five-fer. During the middle overs, Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav had tightened Bangladesh’s pace. Eventually the team got wrapped up in 228.
