India’s Women Cricketers Touch Down in Sri Lanka for T20 Asia Cup

Asia Cup T20: Indian Women's Team Arrives in Sri Lanka

For the Asia Cup T20, which starts in Dambulla on July 19, the Indian women’s cricket squad arrived here on Tuesday.

The India and Bangladeshi squads’ arrival images were posted on social media by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).

On the first day of action, India will take on Pakistan, their bitter rivals. The UAE and Nepal will play a day game on July 19.

Group B consists of Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka, the hosts.

The competition will act as a warm-up for the World Cup, which will take place in Bangladesh in October.
