Royal Challengers Bangalore registered a comfortable nine-wicket victory over the Rajasthan Royals in their Indian Premier League match at Jaipur. Chris Gayle remained not out on 70 off 44 balls studded with six boundaries and four sixes.

Gayle and Virat Kohli put up an unbeaten 83-run stand for the second wicket. Kohli provided a steady support from the other end, and is batting on 18 off 20 balls.

Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne struck to remove Tillakaratne Dilshan for 38 after he and Chris Gayle provided Royal Challengers Bangalore a rollicking start in pursuit of 147 in their Indian Premier League match at Jaipur.

Dilshan hit two boundaries in the first over off Shane Watson to set the tone. The Sri Lankan batsmen adopted an aggressive approach and clobbered another six boundaries to reach 38 off 24 balls.

Big hitting Gayle too got into the act and smashed three boundaries and a six to provide Bangalore a quick start.

Earlier, Rajasthan batsmen failed to build partnerships and lost wickets at regular intervals, and were restriced to 146 for six from 20 overs by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sreenath Aravind claimed three wickets for 34.
