India pacer S Sreesanth has been ruled out of action for five months due to injuries to both his toes that will require two surgeries.
Â
“Got to get 2 surgery (on both my toes) will be out of the game for 5 months..hopefully will try to get back soon..
Â
Take care..thanks a lot,” Sreesanth wrote on his twitter page.
Â
The temperamental bowler last played for India in the Test series in England last summer, and has only played one first-class match before picking up the toe injury.
Â
Sreesanth, who had preferred ayurvedic treatment instead of going for a surgery in December last, had originally hoped to be fit in time for the CB series in Australia earlier this year.
Â
Sreesanth ruling himself out means Rajasthan Royals will have to do without the fast bowler this Indian Premier League season. (PTI)
