Pune Warriors India restrict Mumbai Indians to 120 for 9 in 20 overs in their IPL 2012 clash in Pune on Thursday.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Mumbai got off to a splendid start with openers Sachin Tendulkar and James Franklin coming hard on the Pune bowlers.

Just when the duo looked set for a big partnership, Bhuvneshwar Kumar struck to dismiss Franklin with that broke the 50run opening stand.

Rohit Sharma s stay in the middle was cut short when a mix-up saw him get run-out.

Tendulkar and Peterson rallied to resurrect the Mumbai innings but Nehra had the former caught behind for 34.

Once Tendulkar departed, Pune bowlers claw back into the match with quick wickets to have the visitors reeling at 93 for seven.

Lasith Malinga smashed two boundaries and a six off Ashok Dinda in the 19th over helped Mumbai past three-figure mark.

Brief Scores: MI 120 for 9 in 20 overs (Sachin Tendulkar 34, James Franklin 25; Bhuvneshwar Kumar 2 for 9, Ashish Nehra 2 for 19) vs PWI
