Deccan Chargers (DC) piled up a massive 181 for two in their allotted 20 overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their Indian Premier League 2012 tie at Bengaluru.

Openers got Deccan off to a steady start as Daniel Harris and Shikhar Dhawan put up an 86-run stand for the first wicket.

Bangalore bowlers appeared ineffective as the duo milked the bowling with ease.

Just when the Deccan looked set for a big score, a terrible mix-up saw Kohli run-out Harris three short of a well deserved half-century.

The Australian smashed a 41-ball 47 which included two boundaries and four sixes.

Cameron White then teamed up with Dhawan as they got down to building up on the opening partnership.

The duo stitched up an 82-run partnership for the second wicket to take Deccan past 150.

Newly signed pacer Prasanth Parameswaran finally got the break-through for the home side dismissing White for 45.

Bangalore use seven bowlers, but failed to restrict the visitors to a lower total.

Brief Scores: DC 181 in 20 overs (Shikhar Dhawan 73, Daniel Harris 47; Prasanth Parameswaran 1 for 45) vs RCB
