Mumbai Indians all-rounder Dwayne Smith believes that Sachin Tendulkar s run-out was the game changing moment against Chennai Super Kings in the Eliminator match of the Indian Premier League.

“When Sachin got out and after a couple of balls I got out, and I think this was the main point with the lot other turning points, which took the game away from us.”

Smith was disappointed talking about the defeat against CSK.

“It actually went to the final over, but not how we wanted it. I really think we could have pushed them a little more but it didn t happen. That s life and the next step for us is the Champions League Twenty20.” Dawyne Smith was quoted as saying to iplt20.com

“We still had a chance after the Dhoni-Bravo partnership. We had a good start with the bat and were well ahead of them. I think that we didn t nail our plans correctly and we can t be upset about it now,” Smith added.

The West Indian player feels that India is a much more enthusiastic country when it comes to cricket as compared to the people of Caribbean.

“India is more passionate than West Indies and I can t really put two of them together as Indians love their cricket and there is a lot more noise and you can hardly hear yourself. But I still love playing in West Indies as it is my home.”

Smith finds Harbhajan Singh to be an aggressive captain and believes he is a good leader.

“He is aggressive and positive, and hopefully, he can continue from here,” he concluded.
