The 23-year old Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Sunil Narine is not too bothered about the fact that batsmen will be able to read him better very soon. His mystery balling has bamboozled almost everyone including the Little Master Sachin Tendulkar in the current Indian Premier League.

“I just want to focus on bowling well, bowling as accurately as I can. It does not worry me, whether batsman start reading me or not,” Narine said.

Just a few weeks back, Pune Warriors India skipper Sourav Ganguly had said that with more cricket happening around, batsmen will be able to unravel the mystery of Sunil Narine just like they did with Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis.

“People will sort him out, eventually. Look at what happened to Ajantha Mendis,” the former Indian captain had said.

While talking about his bowling style, Narine said that he picked up the art on his own.

“I have learnt this art from my own practice, I don t have any particular mentor,” Narine was quoted as telling to MiD DAY.

“I have worked really hard on my bowling to develop this style,” he added.

Sunil Narine was picked up at the Indian Premier auctions at a whopping $700,000 by Kolkata Knight Riders which raised a few eyebrows. However, he repaid the faith of his franchisee by picking up 24 wickets till the final of IPL 2012.
