Jalaj Saxena, the Madhya Pradesh all-rounder has been picked by the Mumbai Indians for Rs 90 lakhs at the Indian Premier league (IPL) 2014 auction. On a day the uncapped players were up for grabs, numerous domestic stars have gone for a huge price.

The second half of the morning session has seen less activity, but there was some competition for Saxena.

Saxena is a leg-spinner who can also open the batting. He has been a part of the India’s numerous representative sides in the past. In 2012-13, he was a regular feature for India A, with his latest outing for that side being against New Zealand A.
