Punjab cricketer Mandeep Singh has been traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) ahead of  Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 season.

Mandeep  who is in Patiala for Ranji Trophy 2014-15 Group B match against Delhi confirmed the news and told, ” They have traded me to their franchise but I’m not focusing about IPL at the moment and  my total focus is on the ongoing Ranji Trophy.”

He has been part of the IPL since 2010 when he first played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but he was bought by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) for the 2011 season and has been with the franchise since then.

The 23-year-old youngster grabbed limelight during the ongoing Ranji Trophy when he smacked 235 against Saurashtra at Rajkot.
