Over the years in Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen a different level of acrobatics and one pulled off by Andre Russell and Piyush Chawla has to be amongst the best. It did bring back the memories of the previous edition when Tim Southee and Karun Nair formed a partnership to pull off a spectacular catch.

On this instance, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) got off to a good start. Eoin Morgan and Naman Ojha got into the act for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and had added 67 in quick time. It was a back of length ball and Ojha hit it down the ground. Russell ran to his left from long-on and caught it with his left hand, however the momentum saw him almost run over the boundary ropes but displaying brilliant presence of mind, Russell flicked the ball back to Piyush Chawla, who had positioned himself well, running in from long-off. Chawla was too close to the ropes and leapt. The ball touched his left hand and he took it off rebound. A brilliant catch was completed.
