Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif is a cricket enthusiast, commentator and an active twitter user. Kaif who was a part of the Indian Premier League while he was still playing cricket likes to analyse the game and share his opinion. The former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player on Saturday took a dig at Dale Steyn, the South African pacer who is currently with the Gujarat Lions squad. During the RCB vs GL match of IPL 2016  Kaif tweeted  – ” Steyn has not played much in this @IPL and the way AB & Kohli batted today, he would have been happy to sit out!  #RCBvGL”.

Kaif was like many thrilled by the batting display that was on show when RCB batters Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers took the attack to the Gujarat Lions bowlers. The duo shared a 200+ run stand between them and smashed the bowlers all around the park. The pair also notched up their individual hundreds in the process and completely took the game away from GL. A number of records were broken as the duo made everything look easy. RCB ended at 248-3 in 20 overs.

Gujarat Lions meanwhile, were never in the run chase. They were off to a poor start and kept losing wickets regularly. Suresh Raina’s absence due to the birth of his first child added to the problems as well. At the end GL were all out for 104 in less than 19 overs and lost the game by 144 runs. AB de Villiers was adjudged Player of the match for his knock of 129 in just 52 deliveries.
