Dwayne Bravo, West Indies batting all-rounder is playing in his 100th Indian Premier League (IPL) match which also happens to be his 300th T20 game.  He has featured for Gujarat Lions (GL) in the 34th IPL 2016 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Bravo’s IPL record is pretty decent. He averages 23.82 and has a strike rate of 126.43. He has scored 961 runs with four fifties. He also has 115 scalps at an economy of 8.19. This is a big achievement for Bravo. Bravo has also featured in 61 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) scoring 895 runs at an average of 24.51 which means his T20I batting average is greater than his IPL’s. He has 49 wickets in T20I cricket. Capable of hitting big shots, he also varies his bowling a lot which helps him get wickets. He mixes up his slower deliveries sometimes to trick the batsmen. Bravo has also featured in 40 Tests and 164 ODIs. He averages 31.43 in Test cricket and 25.37 in ODIs. He has picked up 86 and 199 wickets in Test and ODIs respectively. Bravo is batting  at No. 6 as per the usual GL order in the match. Talking of the game, Dwayne Smith and Suresh Raina got out early after they were invited to bat first by Sunrisers. Bravo’s IPL record is not very great though he is always handy for any team as he chips in with some good medium-fast bowling when the need arises. He has also played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in previous IPL seasons.
