BCCI have announced change in fixtures of three Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 matches due to the municipal elections in Delhi. As a result, there is a minor alteration in the three home matches of Delhi Daredevils (DD) against Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS). The April 22 fixtures MI vs DD that was to take place at 4 PM is now rescheduled to 8 PM in Mumbai, and RPS vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fixture that was to take place at 8 PM in Delhi is rescheduled to 4 PM at Pune. According to the media release from the BCCI, “The VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 schedule has been revised owing to the Municipal elections set to take place in Delhi on April 22nd, 2017. As a result the home matches involving Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and the Rising Pune Supergiant have undergone minor changes. As per the current schedule, two matches were slated for the 22nd of April. Delhi Daredevils against Mumbai Indians at 4:00PM in Delhi and the Rising Pune Supergiant against Sunrisers Hyderabad at 8:00PM in Pune. April 22nd MI vs DD in Mumbai (8:00PM IST)

April 22nd RPS vs SRH in Pune (4:00PM IST)

The IPL 2017 will begin as scheduled on April 5, with the first match scheduled to be between SRH and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Hyderabad.
