IPL 2018 Auction: Harbhajan Singh sold to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for INR 2 crores

Harbhajan Singh has been picked up by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for a price of INR 2 Cr. His base price was set at 2 Cr. This will be the first time that Harbhajan will feature for an IPL team other than Mumbai Indians. Harbhajan played 136 matches for MI, scoring 771 runs and claiming 127 wickets. He has been in great form for Punjab in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy , thus far.

A total of 578 players including 360 Indians will be available in this year’s IPL auction that is being held at Bengaluru today and tomorrow. After 10 successful IPL editions, the teams will look forward to build their core once again. Expect a huge bidding war. Each team were given options to retain five players.
