IPL 2018 Auction Live updates: Ishan Kishan sold to Mumbai Indians for INR 6.2 crore

I am Suvajit Mustafi and will be providing you with live updates from the auction, which will be held on Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Bengaluru. This weekend, 578 players, including 361 players from India will be a part of the 11th edition of the IPL auction.

After 10 successful IPL editions, the teams will look forward to build their core once again. Expect a huge bidding war. Each team were given options to retain five players.

Playing for Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS), Stokes became the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Expect him to fetch a massive amount this time too. If he is ruled out for the season due to his alleged involvement in street brawl, the team will be allowed a replacement.
