After being thrashed by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Mumbai Indians (MI) were back to winning ways earning the second win of the VIVO IPL 2018. They huffed and puffed to claim 8-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Pune. Rohit Sharma shut the critics with a fine 34th IPL fifty to guide MI to a desperate win. He breezed through the CSK bowlers with his classic textbook shots. Rohit also received support from Elvin Lewis in the top-order.

Their bowling too came good with Mitchell McClenaghan and Krunal Pandya scalping two wickets each. However, Hardik Pandya is yet to find his rhythm. CSK had their moments as well. Suresh Raina has bounced back well post his calf injury. His fifty helped CSK post a sub-par total of 169.
