He has played for three franchise previously. In the IPL 2017 he played an important role for Mumbai Indians guiding them to the title. He picked up 13 wickets in 9 matches with an impressive economy of 6.97. Playing for CSK, Karn completed his 50 wickets in IPL career by dismissing Jaydev Unadkat for 16. <p></p> <p></p>Unadkat was unable to pick Karn, and got his stumps knocked over. Karn went on to claim his 51st wicket as well. His second wicket of the day came in the form of Ben Laughlin. <p></p> <p></p><strong>Author's take</strong> <p></p> <p></p>Karn Sharma made his IPL debut in 2013 for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He was included in the bowling line-up alongside Dale Steyn, Thisara Perera and Amit Mishra. With a strong bowling line up he proved a good support to Amit. Ever since he became a regular member of IPL and developed his skills. In 2017 IPL final he bowled a tight spell of four overs conceding only 18 runs with 12 dot balls in a low scoring match. He can also be handy with the bat at times.
