MS Dhoni has brought smiles back to his loyal fans after rediscovering his old form in Vivo IPL 2018. He reached another landmark today at Feroz Shah Kotla, New Delhi. He completed 6,000 T20 runs, in Match 52 of the tournament (his 290th), between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Daredevils (DD). Of these, 1,444 have come from 89 T20 Internationals for India, with only 2 half-centuries.Dhoni came to bat at No. 4 after the dismissal of Ambati Rayudu, when CSK were 70 for 2 chasing 163.

Dhoni is also approaching 4,000 IPL runs (he is currently on 3,974). Of these, 413 have come in this season, from 13 matches with 3 fifties, with a highest score of 79*. His average is an extraordinary 103.25. He has often promoted himself up the order this season, which seems to have worked for him.
