In Match 14 of VIVO IPL 2018, it was Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli‘s day out. Where Rohit made his presence felt in 2018 IPL with his fine knock of 94 for Mumbai Indians (MI), Kohli played a lone battle chasing 214 slamming 92* for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The visitors started off well leaving MI in state of bother at 0 for 2. Umesh Yadav was back in thick of action after leaking 59 runs against Rajasthan Royals (RR).
However, Evin Lewis (65) and Rohit counter-attacked and RCB never returned back to the game. For MI, Krunal Pandya was the wrecker-in-chief with his 3-wicket haul. Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah handled the pace attack scalping two wickets each to hand MI their first win in 2018 IPL.
