Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been the most cerebral unit in VIVO IPL 2018. They are making a habit of defending paltry scores. On Monday night, they once again defended 146, against a batting-heavy Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
The win sees SRH being the first team in the competition, notching up 16 points and advancing to the Playoffs. Meanwhile, RCB slumped to their seventh defeat in the tournament as their advancing looking bleak.

Kane Williamson s half-century helped SRH innings some respectability. SRH s bowlers rose to the occasion, the pace trio of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma and Siddarth Kaul, gave away 72 runs of their 12 overs for 3 wickets. Shakib Al Hasan played a brilliant all-round role.
Rashid Khan wasn t lucky as Williamson dropped Kohli off him, however, the Afghan wizard got the better of AB de Villiers.
