Two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders retained most of their players for Season 12 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) next year. The Dinesh Karthik-led side bought eight players at the IPL Auction 2019 on Tuesday with West Indies allrounder Carlos Barthwaite topping the list after he was pocketed for Rs 5 crore. New Zealand’s express pacer Lockie Ferguson for bought for Rs 1.60 crore, while England batsman Joe Denly for snapped for Rs 1 crore.
