Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the coin toss and opted to field against Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 47 of the Indian Premier League 2019.

KKR have made three changes to their side that lost to Rajasthan Royals. Out go Carlos Brathwaite, Prasidh Krishna and Yarra Prithviraj, in come Robin Uthappa, Harry Gurney and Sandeep Warrier who will make his debut.

MI have made just one change – Anukul Roy has been replaced by Barinder Sran who will make his debut for them.

It’s been quite a ride for KKR who started the season with a bang becoming one of the early favourites to land a playoff spot before their performances went down south so much so that their star performer Andre Russell tore into their decision-making. A defeat here could all but end their slim chances.

MI clearly are the favourites not just because they beat Chennai Super Kings in their last match but also because they haven’t lost to KKR in their previous eight matches.
