Making their entry back to the Indian Premier League (IPL) fold after a two-year suspension, Rajasthan Royals (RR) finished fourth in the previous edition. At the IPL Auction 2019 on Tuesday, RR, who had released left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat after a poor season, secured his services back again for Rs 8.4 crore – the joint costliest buy along with Varun Chakravarthy – the mystery spinner – who was snapped by Kings XI Punjab.

Royals strengthened their seam attack fetching West Indies’ in-form pacer Oshane Thomas for Rs 1.1 crore.
