Kolkata claimed their second win in row in the 2019 Indian T20 League by beating Punjab by 28 runs at Eden Gardens on Wednesday.

Kolkata, playing the second home game, were once again indebted to Andre Russell. The West Indies allrounder smacked 48 off 17 balls and later claimed the wickets of Chris Gayle and Sarfraz Khan to consigned Punjab to defeat.

Russell outplayed his West Indian counterpart Chris Gayle, whom he dismissed for 20.
