VIDEO: Pollard’s 31-ball 83 takes Mumbai to hat-trick of wins

Game 24 of the 2019 IPL between Mumbai Indians against Kings XI Punjab at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday saw Kieron Pollard blast 83 off 31 balls to help the home team to a thrilling victory.

Set a target of 198 after KL Rahul scored his first IPL century, Mumbai found themselves needing 133 from the last ten overs.

Pollard, leading in place of the injured Rohit Sharma, hit 10 sixes and three fours in his smashing innings to take the total to 194/7 in 19.2 overs, before the winning runs were sealed off the last ball of the match with three wickets remaining.

With this win, Mumbai have moved to third place on the IPL points table.
