Amid all the speculation that the ongoing Indian Premier League would be postponed due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in India, media reports suggest that the IPL would be halted for a 6-7 day period.
This would come as a massive setback for BCCI who all along said that they would go ahead with the tournament despite the rise in cases across the country. Media reports suggest the decision was taken after Wriddhiman Saha tested positive.
