All the events of the opening ceremony are complete and the national anthem at the end has also been done. Now the toss will soon be held.

The IPL has reached 18th season, implying it has become an adult if the league was an Indian citizen. Hence, the BCCI officials have cut a special cake in order to celebrate this edition of the tournament.

Rajat Patidar and Ajinkya Rahane have come up on the stage, and have bought the trophy on the stage with them.

After all the officials and the performing stars were called, Virat Kohli was given the IPL 18 memento.
