Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans secured thrilling victories to climb the IPL 2025 points table on Saturday’s doubleheader. LSG secured a convincing 2 runs victory over Rajasthan Royals whereas, Gujarat Titans chased down the massive total of 203 runs, and won tha match against Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets.

According to the latest standings, GT, DC, Punjab Kings, and LSG hold the top four positions,crucial for playoff qualification while Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, RR, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Chennai Super Kings make up the rest of the 10-team table.

In the evening match, LSG secured a thrilling victory by 2 runs against Rajasthan Royals after pacer Avesh Khan’s impressive death over bowling spell, as he took three crucial wickets.

However, RR’s star batter Yashasvi Jaiswal played a brilliant knock of 74 off 52 deliveries, Riyan Parag’s 39 and Vaibhav Suryavanshi 34, put RR in a strong position before Avesh took crucial wickets of Jaiswal, Parag and Hetmyer.

Earlier, GT’s star batter Jos Butler smashed an impressive 97-run knock and 119 run partnership with Sherfane Rutherford (43) helped GT secure a convincing 7-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals.
