Chennai Super Kings (CSK),who have been the most consistent and successful team of the Indian Premier League (IPL) so far, retained all five players going into the IPL 7 Auction.
But they also bought Brendon McCullum and bought back Faf du Plessis, which seemed very logical decisions. They also bought Samuel Badree, the economical spinner from the West Indies.
Overall, they still look the same strong unit, but maybe lack a strike bowler.
