Left-handed big-hitting batsman, Saurabh Tiwary has been bought by the Delhi Daredevils for INR 70 lakhs at the IPL 7 auction.

Tiwary, who was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore last season for $1.6million, had a rather poor season last time round. This time, he was marked at the base price of Rs 50 lakh.

The bidding for him started off very slowly with Kolkata Knight Riders making the first bid. DD soon joined the bidding, and finally bought him for Rs 70 lakh.

RCB, who still have a ‘Right to Match’ card left, didn’t use it to buy back the Jharkhand left-hander.
