The Vivo IPL Trophy Tour continued, as Hyderabad played host as its second destination. According to the official press release, “between 800 and 1,000 enthusiastic fans enjoyed the sight of the coveted Vivo IPL Trophy. The cricket crazy fans engaged themselves in various exciting and entertaining sports activities, clicking selfies with the trophy and participated in contests organized at the event. Winners of the activities also won various gifts from IPL tickets to invitations to Vivo brand events. The next edition of IPL will begin soon after the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2016, and will be played among eight teams: Mumbai Indians (MI), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Gujarat Lions (GL), Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS), and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Two of the most popular sides, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), have been banned for two years and replaced with GL and RPS.
