IPL Auction 2018: Rashid Khan retained SRH for INR 9 crores

Rashid Khan was the star in previous IPL Auctions and remains one even in this one. Rashid was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for INR 9 crores. Rashid was star in the previous edition scalping 17 wickets from 14 matches at 6.62 economy rate. He then went on to participate in CPL and BBL as well. There are more players from Afghanistan in fray in form of Mohammad Nabi, Mohammad Shahzad and Mujeeb Zadran who are to be picked in the auctions.

A total of 578 players including 360 Indians will be available in this year’s IPL auction that is being held at Bengaluru today and tomorrow. After 10 successful IPL editions, the teams will look forward to build their core once again. Expect a huge bidding war. Each team were given options to retain five players.
