IPL to be considered as 'List A' match: BCCI

The working committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, which met on Saturday in Kolkata, has decided to consider the Indian Premier League matches as ‘List A matches.

The BCCI informed on its portal: “IPL is categorized as List ‘A match.”

The working committee also decided on the grades of the players. In Grade A, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Ishant Sharma have been included.

The other players in the list are: Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, M S Dhoni, VVS Laxman, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Ishant Sharma and Kohli.

These players will be paid Rs. One crores per match.

The Grade B players, who will be paid Rs. 50 lakhs per match are Praveen Kumar, Pragyan Ojha, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja.

The players in the C Grade — to be paid Rs. 25 lakhs are S Sreesanth, Amit Mishra, Cheteshwar Pujara, Abhimanyu Mithun, Vinay Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Munaf Patel, Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan, Wriddhiman Saha, Parthiv Patel, S Badrinath, Manoj Tiwary, Piyush Chawla, Dinesh Karthik, Jaydev Unadkat, Umesh Yadav, Rahul Sharma, Varun Aaron and Abhinav Mukund
