He has been selected for the upcoming T20 series against New Zealand next month, as well as the 2026 T20 World Cup squad. On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the left-handed batter smashed a blazing century in just 33 balls at Ground B, Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. His 125-run knock powered Jharkhand to a huge 412/9 against Karnataka.
This is the second-fastest List A century by an Indian batter, achieved on December 24, 2025. Earlier on the same day, Bihar captain Sakibul Gani set the record for the fastest List A hundred by an Indian, reaching his century in just 32 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in Ranchi.
