India middle-order batsman Rahul Dravid on Thursday said that Sachin Tendulkar is not under pressure to hit his 100th ton, and the team is not discussing about it.

There were several media reports claiming that the Little Master is getting bogged down under pressure to hit his record century, which has eluded him from last 17 innings in Test cricket and four One-Day Internationals.

Former crickters Kapil Dev and Greg Chappell had claimed a few days ago that Tendulkar s impending 100th ton is the reason behind team s poor show against Australia.

“It s not spoken about much in the group at all, actually not at all. He`s been pretty relaxed about it,” Dravid told reporters ahead of the third Test at Perth.

“He got 90 in Bombay and then I think he was 70 and 80 in the last two games, so obviously from his point of view, I’m sure he knows he’s batting well enough to complete it,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Dravid as saying.

“So, I guess, it d be great if he can do it here (Perth) for us. But, I think the heartening thing for him in the back of his mind is that he’s been batting beautifully over the last two or three games,” Dravid added.
