BCCI interim chief Jagmohan Dalmiya on Sunday lavished praise on Virat Kohli-led young Indian team for registering a resounding 5-0 win over Zimbabwe in the ODI series.

“The young Indian squad oozed confidence and showed immense determination. Many congratulations to Team India for registering the clean sweep on foreign soil,” Dalmiya said in a release today.

In the absence of regular skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who was given a much-needed rest, Kohli-led India reigned supreme in all the five matches for their 5-0 victory.

In the fifth one-dayer yesterday, India hammered Zimbabwe by seven wickets in Bulawayo to consolidate their No. 1 ranking in the ICC ODI rankings.
