After a little hiatus from cricket, Jasprit Bumrah will resume action when the third Test against England begins on Thursday in Rajkot. There are three Tests left in the series, and it is tied at one. Ben Stokes guided England to victory in the first Test, but Rohit Sharma’s team prevailed in the second. India leveled the series owing in large part to the nine wickets that pacer Jasprit Bumrah got in the match. Like other players on the Indian cricket team, Jasprit Bumrah enjoyed some quality family time after the game.

He even shared a photo of himself and his spouse Sanjana Ganesan on social media, writing, “Happiness is here.” Popular sports anchor Sanjana is. The couple had their first child recently.

Sanjana Ganesan, however, was subjected to fat shaming on Monday in an Instagram image that had a Valentine’s Day theme. The user wrote, “Bhabhi moti lag rahi hai (You are looking fat).”

“School ki science textbook toh yaad hoti nahi hai tumse, bada auraton ke bodies ke baare mein comment kar raho ho. Bhaago yaha se (You can’t even remember school science textbooks, how dare you comment on women’s bodies. Run away),” Sanjana Ganesan responded in a harsh tone. Everyone praised the response.

Dale Steyn, a legendary pacer from South Africa, recently gave Jasprit Bumrah admiration. “I don’t think there’s any Test bowlers right now who are able to run in and bowl essentially wicket-taking yorkers,” Steyn stated.

“There are certainly a few men that are capable of taking wickets in Test matches. Trent Boult and Mitchell Starc were two of those. And Bumrah, of course.”

When considering Bumrah’s versatility, Steyn emphasized his unconventional yet potent bowling approach.

“I used to argue that a good yorker delivered anywhere—in South Africa, Australia, or India—remains a good yorker because you can remove the surface no matter where it was bowled.

“I believe that’s one thing that he’s done incredibly well—you take away the pitch.

“He’s an excellent bowler all around. And given his clumsy behavior, it’s not surprising that he possesses that. He’s amazing; he takes wickets on those gentle pitches,” Steyn continued.

“As an Indian player, you will have a heavy burden. India is a highly sought-after cricket squad in the world and plays a lot of the game.

“It seems like India don’t really miss him because the step-in bowlers are up to the standard, and it’s a great credit to the Indian cricket.”

Sanjana Ganesan, in addition to being Jasprit Bumrah’s wife, has extensive experience covering international sports events such as the IPL and ICC tournaments. However, she took a break from the limelight due to her maternity leave after recently giving birth to a baby boy. Her return to the public eye was marred by heavy trolling over her postpartum weight gain. While this isn’t the first time she’s faced such criticism, Sanjana has a history of shutting down trolls in a significant manner.
