Javagal Srinath appointed match referee as ICC unveils officials for World Test Championship Final
Javagal Srinath is set to serve as the match referee along with NItin Menon who will be on duty as the fourth umpire during World Test Championship Final.

Former Team India pacer Javagal Srinath is set to serve as the match referee during the World Test Championship Final, alongside debutant umpire Nitin Menon, who will be on duty as the fourth umpire.
Englandâs Richard Illingworth and New Zealandâs Chris Gaffaney will be the on-field umpires for the WTC Final at Lord’s. Defending champions Australia will face South Africa in the battle for the Test mace. The WTC Final is scheduled to take place from June 11 to 15.
Englandâs Richard Kettleborough, who has officiated in the finals of numerous major ICC tournaments like the Men’s World Cup and the Champions Trophy, has been appointed as the TV umpire. He previously held the same role during the inaugural World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand in 2021.
Nitin menon has been selected as the fourth umpire for the Finals, earlier Menon was a TV umpire for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final in 2021.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah praised the experience and capabilities of the appointed officials and expressed confidence in their ability to deliver a strong performance.
“We are pleased to announce an experienced team of match officials for the ICC World Test Championship Final at Lord’s, marking the culmination of a highly competitive two-year cycle of Test matches played around the world,” Shah said in an ICC release.
“We strive to select the most qualified and deserving officials for all matches, and we are confident they will perform admirably. On behalf of the ICC, I wish them all the best and hope they enjoy this assignment.” Shah added.
