Jonty Rhodes offers support to seizure-affected Umar Akmal

Former South African batsman and an enigmatic fielder Jonty Rhodes has advised Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal to be patient and listen to the advice of the doctor regarding his seizure problem.
Akmal was recently diagnosed with the problem of seizure. He spent a night at the hospital after he suffered a seizure on the flight to Jamaica. Frequent seizure attack is called epilepsy in medical terms. “Umar Akmal has to be patient and strictly take the medication prescribed by his doctor, ” said Rhodes to gulfnews.com over the phone.
Rhodes has advised Akmal to look after himself and take proper dosage of medication. He said: “I had a very mild form of epilepsy so didn’t have to be on medication for long. Nowadays with the medication available, you can continue living your life and never feel that you suffer from this disorder.”
