Indian National Congress (INC) general secretary accused Kailash Vijayvargia, stating that Vijawargia has been trying to take over as the President of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA).

“After entering the district and divisional cricket associations by force, Vijayvargia is now applying ‘dadagiri’ to gain control of MPCA,” Singh lashed out.

Singh expressed that Congress will be supporting Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and make sure that Vijayvargia is not able to manipulate elections.

“Whatever they (read Vijayvargia and his supporters) do, I will not allow them to dislodge Scindia,” Singh was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

Singh met members of MPCA and also few officials of the Scindia team. They are said to have discussed issues related to elections and influence other members of MPCA.
