KFC BigBash T20 was officially kicked-off on Tuesday night in Sydney. The first season of the revamped Australian domestic tournament will start from December 16.

KFC BigBash T20 was officially kicked-off on Tuesday night in Sydney. The first season of the revamped Australian domestic tournament will start from December 16.

Australian Marcus North and Tim Paine will captain Perth Scorchers and Hobart Hurricanes. Pakistan all rounder Shahid Afridi will play for Melbourne Renegades. England T20 World Cup winning captain Paul Collingwood and former South African Herschelle Gibbs will represent Perth Scorchers. West Indian big-hitter Kieron Pollard is set to play for Adelaide Strikers.

Each team can sign up to 18 players including upto two overseas players.
