Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face off in Match 39 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 at Mohali on Monday. Both these teams are in the lower half of the IPL 9 points table, with KXIP languishing at No. 8 and RCB at No. 7, making this the battle of the bottom two. However, RCB have played fewer matches than most, and they are still in with a chance of making it to the final four if they manage to string together a few victories. They have already beaten Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) in their last match thanks to a terrific ton from skipper Virat Kohli, so the momentum is with them. FULL CRICKET SCORECARD: Kings XI Punjab vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, IPL 2016 Match 39 at Mohali

Kohli has been by far the best batsman of the tournament, and currently holds the Orange Cap by some distance. His closest competitor David Warner is almost 100 runs behind him. That is a testament to how terrific Kohli has been in this edition of IPL. Sadly for RCB, Chris Gayle has been a far cry from his old self. AB de Villiers has been among the runs, as has Shane Watson, but their lacklustre bowling has hampered the side in a big way. KXIP has not had much going in their favour either, and as things stand neither of these teams have a great chance of making it to the final four. FULL CRICKET BLOG: Kings XI Punjab vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, IPL 2016 Match 39 at Mohali
