Kings XI Punjab captain David Hussey won the toss and elected to bat against Chennai Super Kings in their IPL 2012 tie at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday.

Chennai Super Kings will look to maintain their winning run when they take on Kings XI Punjab in their league match.

Punjab would be eager to forget their last match when they were thrashed by the Mumbai Indians in a close game.

But it would be a difficult proposition for the low-on-confidence Punjab outfit to tame the ‘Men in Yellow’ in their own den.

Having lost five of their eight matches so far in the tournament, KXIP are fully aware that they would have to play out of their skins if they intend to topple the hosts.

Teams:

CSK: Subramanium Badrinath, Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (c & wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Wriddhiman Saha, Ravichandran Ashwin, Nuwan Kulasekara, Shadab Jakati, Albie Morkel.

KXIP: Nitin Saini (wk), Shaun Marsh, David Hussy (c), David Miller, Azhar Mahmood, Mandeep Singh, Bipul Sharma, Piyush Chawla, Bhargav Bhatt, Parvinder Awana, Praveen Kumar.
